Blue Mountains Day Trip
Blue Mountains Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll meet next to Christ Church St Laurence in Sydney, from where we'll begin a minibus tour to the Blue Mountains National Park.
During the 1.5-hour journey, we'll drive through Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth, three towns with a curious history. Did you know that they are named after three explorers? What if we told you that they were the first British settlers to cross the Blue Mountains? We'll discover all the curiosities along the tour!
Our first stop will be in front of one of the most emblematic places of this mountainous landscape, the Three Sisters, an iconic rock formation on a large cliff. We'll also reveal the Aboriginal legend that tells of these women.
Afterwards, we'll go on a hiking route through the Blue Mountains. During the 1.5-hour walk, we'll make several stops to calmly admire the scenery, and so that you can refuel with a sandwich that we'll hand out. We'll also discover interesting facts about this extraordinary natural landscape.
Finally, we'll return to the vehicle that will take us back to the meeting point in Sydney, where we'll conclude this 10-hour activity.
Other Day Trips to the Blue Mountains
If you want to make your experience even more complete, we recommend choosing the day trip that includes admission to Scenic World and Sydney Zoo. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to discover the Blue Mountains with a guide just for you, you can book a private day trip.
