Free Walking Tour in Sydney
Free Tour of Sydney
At the indicated time we'll meet at Wharf 6, along the Circular Quay, and from here we'll start our free tour of Sydney!
We’ll start the tour at Circular Quay itself, where we’ll introduce you to the world-famous Sydney Opera House. We’ll reveal the secrets behind its fascinating, avant-garde design, as well as the great significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
From there, we’ll head into The Rocks, Sydney’s oldest neighbourhood. Strolling through its charming streets, we’ll discover its surprising past of convicts and penal settlers, key to understanding the origins of modern Sydney.
We’ll continue our walk along the Royal Botanic Gardens of Sydney, one of the city’s most important green spaces, where we’ll marvel at its impressive variety of flora. Right next door, we’ll come across the State Library of New South Wales, Australia’s oldest centre of learning, and we’ll pass in front of the historic New South Wales Parliament House to learn how the country’s government works.
Our next stop will be at the famous Hyde Park, the heart of Sydney. There, we'll pause in front of the imposing St Mary’s Cathedral, one of the region's most spectacular places of worship, whose origins date back to the 19th century.
But our adventure doesn’t end there. To round off the tour in style, we’ll guide you through the bustling streets of the financial district until we reach the majestic Town Hall and the beautiful Queen Victoria Building (QVB), an architectural masterpiece where we’ll reveal Sydney’s best-kept secrets.
After a comprehensive tour lasting between 2 and 2.5 hours, we’ll bring the free tour to a close.
