One of Europe's largest centres for the promotion of science and culture, the neo-futuristic City of Arts and Sciences is a symbol of Valencia.

What to see in the City of Arts and Sciences

  • L'Hemisfèric: an IMAX Cinema, planetarium and laserium. Built in the shape of a giant eye, l'Hemisfèric is the centrepiece of the City of Arts and Sciences.
  • L'Oceanogràfic: the largest oceanographic aquarium in Europe, featuring animal and plant species from around the world.
  • Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe: an interactive museum of science built to resemble the skeleton of a whale.
  • The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, the l'Àgora, and l'Umbracle? are also part of the complex.

Tickets for the City of Arts and Sciences can be booked online via the Civitatis website, both for the whole complex and for individual attractions.
