Dolomites Day Trip
Day Trip Details
After meeting at Eddy Fast Food café, located at Tronchetto 25, we’ll leave Venice behind and begin a 1.5-hour journey to the Dolomites.
Along the way, we’ll make a stop at a café, where you can have a drink and stretch your legs. After another 50 minutes, we’ll arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo, one of the main towns in the Dolomites. It will host the 2026 Winter Olympics. You’ll have 1 hour to walk along Corso Italia, an avenue lined with shops and historic buildings.
Next, we’ll continue for 30 minutes, crossing Passo Tre Croci to reach Lake Misurina, considered one of the most well-known lakes in Italy. Once there, you’ll have 2 hours to explore this area of the Dolomites.
We’ll walk along the lake while enjoying views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, a well-known landmark for climbing. You’ll also have free time to have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Afterward, we’ll travel for 30 minutes to Lake Auronzo, where you’ll have 40 minutes to walk along the shore of this artificial lake and observe the contrast between its turquoise waters and the surrounding mountains. It’s a reservoir built in the 1930s that still regulates the valley’s water flow.
Finally, we’ll return to Venice, where we’ll end the tour after a total of 10 hours.
