At the scheduled time, we’ll meet on the second floor of El Dorado Airport and board a bus to discover Bogotá on a panoramic tour. Ready to make the most of your layover in the Colombian capital? Let’s go!
Our first stop is Salitre Plaza, a shopping area ideal for your first photos. We’ll pass by the Arco de Corferias, a landmark hosting key fairs and events in Bogotá.
Next, we’ll enter the La Candelaria neighborhood, the city’s colonial heart. Here we’ll get off the bus to explore its streets for 20 minutes. Stroll among colorful houses, colonial-style balconies, and vibrant murals.
The route continues past the National Museum, where we’ll pause briefly to admire its grand neoclassical façade. Then we’ll head to Quinta Camacho, a residential area with English-style houses, small plazas, and a serene atmosphere. Shortly after, we’ll reach Zona T, one of Bogotá’s most upscale neighborhoods.
At lunchtime, we’ll stop at Parque de la 93, a lively area full of restaurants and cafés. You’ll have one hour to eat and enjoy local cuisine.
After lunch, we’ll make a final stop in front of Movistar Arena, a symbol of Bogotá’s cultural life.
Finally, we’ll return to El Dorado Airport, concluding the five-hour experience.
Important: Layover Times
To join the tour, your flight should arrive no later than 8:30 am. You must also be at the airport two hours before your departing flight, so ideally, you should have at least 8.5 hours of layover to take part.
