Activity Details

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the meeting point in Seoul. Once everyone's together, we'll board a bus to kick off this day trip to Suwon and a traditional Korean village. Ready to dive into the fascinating local culture? Let's go!

After 1.5 hours on the road, we'll reach our first stop of the day: a traditional village in Yongin, in Gyeonggi Province. During this 3-hour visit, we'll immerse ourselves in Korean folklore and step back in time to discover the ancient culture of the Joseon period.

Next, we'll head to Hwaseong Fortress. Do you know who Jeongjo was? This Joseon dynasty king had it built over 200 years ago. Throughout the tour, we'll explore the fortress's different sections and uncover all its secrets.

Did you know that despite its relatively short history, this monument was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997? During the visit, we'll also walk through Suwon Nammun Market, one of the oldest markets in the country, where you'll have 1 hour of free time to sample some local treats.

Finally, we'll make our way back to Seoul, dropping you off at the meeting point after 10 to 11 hours of adventure.
