Garibaldi Pass Hiking + Escondido Lake Pack Rafting
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ushuaia and head along National Route 3.
We'll pass through the Tierra Mayor Valley until we reach the Paso Garibaldi area. During the 50-minute drive, we'll have a nice chat about the history, culture, and landscapes of the area we're visiting. Once we get to the pass, we'll get ready for the hike.
The hike lasts 3 hours and is of easy difficulty. Along this 4-kilometer (2.5-mile) route, we'll come across mountain lagoons and get views of Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano.
After a quick snack along the way, we'll head to the shore of Lake Escondido, where we'll enjoy a warm mountain stew for lunch.
After eating, we'll rest for a few minutes before spending 1 hour packrafting on Lake Escondido. You're going to love the scenery!
Once we wrap up the packrafting, we'll set off on a new 1-hour hike to the Bridal Veil Waterfall, near the Olivia River area.
After the hike, we'll hop back in the vehicle and head back to Ushuaia. You can expect to arrive at your hotel 8 hours after pickup.
