With the guide, who picked us up at the hotel, everything went well; he was a great driver and told us interesting facts about the region. The tour itself is very beautiful, but long and tiring. The problem we had was with the agency. They sent me a WhatsApp message asking about the hotel, I replied. Then nothing more, they didn't see the message. They didn't tell me the time, nothing else. I was very apprehensive about that. I questioned them and they told me that since I made the purchase online, that's how it was. I've never seen discrimination or differentiation based on online purchase.
The tour is great, I recommend it. But I have a criticism regarding the information on the website, as well as the guides' instructions. Regarding the website, it should clearly state that the buggy tour is mandatory for anyone wanting to visit the beach. As for the guides, I suggest that the day before the tour they coordinate with the groups who intends to go and whether they prefer the shorter route (R$250.00) or the longer route (R$350.00), and help to form groups of 4 people for each route.
The tour is wonderful. You need to be in good shape, as the round trip is long. But if you take advantage of the information provided by the guide and appreciate the natural scenery along the way, the experience becomes even more enriching. All stages of the tour were safe and very well monitored. I was able to fulfill my dream of seeing the São Francisco River and the beautiful Xingó Canyon! A special thank you to the guide Beto who accompanied my group.
