Costa Verde Hiking Route

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Parcheggio Capo Pecora car park, where the waves of the Mediterranean Sea crash along the coast and merge with the steep cliffs. Are you ready for a hike among pink granite rocks, white sandy coves and archaeological ruins? Let's go!

The itinerary, designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace over 4 hours, will take you through easily walkable coastal areas. With short breaks, we'll explore cliffs, and white pebble coves and reach a watchtower that offers breathtaking panoramic views over the sea.

Along the hiking route, we'll marvel at the diversity of Mediterranean flora, including species such as mastic trees, rockrose, olive trees, helichrysum and tamarisk. We'll also pass Spiaggia delle Uova beach, where you'll be able to appreciate the coastal stretch between Buggerru and Piscinas.

As well as that, we'll discover the remains of ancient fortifications, the Domus de Janas, the archaeological site of the Tombs of Giants and learn about the history of Sardinian banditry, which adds an intriguing touch to this adventure. Before the end of the tour, we'll invite you to share a small aperitif with Sardinian products such as cold meats, cheeses and a glass of wine. Finally, our hiking route will come to an end as we return to the starting point.
