Day Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arraial do Cabo to start this Rio de Janeiro tour. Just 180 kilometers (112 miles) separate us from the Carioca city!
Once there, we'll begin exploring some of the city's most iconic spots. First, we'll head to southern Rio to visit the world-famous beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, where you'll immediately feel the vibrant local atmosphere.
Next, we'll pass by the spectacular Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Did you know that it is connected to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing seawater to enter through a channel locally known as Jardim de Alah?
After taking in this natural wonder, we'll move on to the cultural highlights. We'll stop outside the legendary Maracanã Stadium and the Sambódromo, key landmarks for Brazilian sports and Carnival.
Then, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, we'll admire the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral and pass by the Arcos de Lapa. We'll also stop at the colorful Selarón steps, famous for their tiles from around the world–perfect for a few photos!
From the Paineiras area, we'll switch vehicles and take a minibus up to Corcovado Hill. Ready for one of the best views of the city? At the top, we'll find the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue, the undisputed symbol of Rio de Janeiro.
After this exciting tour, we'll stop for a buffet lunch in southern Rio. With full energy, we'll return to Arraial do Cabo, dropping you back at your starting point after a 10-hour tour.
