At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Atins, where we'll prepare for this unique adventure. Ready to swim among glowing plankton and observe this fascinating natural phenomenon that can only be seen in a few specific places in the world?
First, we'll board a typical boat from this region of Brazil, called a rabeta, and set sail for the mouth of the Preguiças River on the Atlantic. Specifically, we'll sail to a low-light area off the beaches of Atins.
During the crossing, we'll have the opportunity to see up close how the plankton glow with blue flashes when the water is stirred. Once we reach the observation area, we'll anchor and disembark from the boat. From this point on, you'll have free time to swim and play in the water as the plankton light up around you. It's a truly magical sight!
After letting yourself be enveloped by this natural spectacle, we'll return to the port of Atins about 2 or 3 hours later, bringing the experience to an end.
