With this round-trip ticket for the Bettmerhorn cable car, you’ll ascend from Bettmeralp to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Aletsch Arena region, in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
You’ll depart from Talstation to the summit on a 7-minute journey, and the return trip lasts 8 minutes. Swiss precision! At the top, you’ll enjoy beautiful panoramic views of this landscape, declared a World Heritage Site. Upon reaching the Bettmerhorn viewpoint, located at more than 2,600 m (8,530 ft) of altitude, one of the most impressive views of the Aletsch Glacier awaits you.
From here, you’ll see its winding tongue of ice, flanked by some of the most iconic peaks of the Alpine massif, such as the Jungfrau and the Mönch, in a setting that feels like another planet. At the summit, you can explore the panoramic platforms at your leisure and follow high-altitude trails, including the one leading to Eggishorn or to Lake Märjelensee.
