4-Day Tour Details

Day 1: Bogotá - Boyacá

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Bogotá that you select to start our adventure toward the department of Boyacá. We'll travel for 4 hours until we reach the hotel, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Lake Tota - Nobsa

We'll begin the day with a tasty breakfast before setting off to Lake Tota, the highest navigable lake in Colombia and the second-largest lake in South America. Its famous Playa Blanca will surprise you with its white sand and cold waters, surrounded by mountains.

After this first time in contact with nature, you can choose two of the following activities, each lasting about 20 minutes:

  • Paragliding flight to admire the lake from the air
  • Horseback ride to explore the Andean landscapes in a calm way
  • Speedboat ride, ideal for relaxing and connecting with the serene environment

After enjoying these activities and grabbing some lunch, we'll head to Nobsa, a charming town known as the world capital of the ruana, a typical garment from the Colombian Andes. For almost 1 hour, we'll stroll around its streets filled with craft workshops and discover the cultural value of this traditional clothing.

At night, we'll return to the hotel for dinner, and if the weather allows, we'll participate in a bonfire under the stars, where you can share your anecdotes of the day under the clear sky of Boyacá. It's the perfect way to end day 2!

Day 3: Paipa Hot Springs - Vargas Swamp - Monguí

After having breakfast at the hotel, we'll set off to the famous Paipa Hot Springs. Here, you'll have 4 hours of free time to relax in its thermal pools, with waters rich in minerals that emerge naturally from the ground and are surrounded by green hills. You'll feel rejuvenated!

After eating lunch on your own, we'll continue the day with a short stop at Vargas Swamp, a crucial scenario for the independence of Colombia. Here, we'll learn about the brave men who fought in this important battle.

Then, we'll head to Monguí, one of Colombia's Pueblos Patrimonio ("Heritage Towns"), a picturesque town famous for its soccer ball factories. We'll visit one of the factories and, in just 15 minutes, you'll make your own soccer ball, which you can take as a souvenir.

At night, we'll return to the hotel for dinner, and those who want to continue the day with some fun can enjoy a themed party. You'll have a blast!

Day 4: Boyacá - Guátika Biopark- Bogotá

Once we have breakfast at the hotel, we'll go to the Guátika Biopark, an animal sanctuary where over 200 species live. We'll spend 3 to 4 hours here, where you'll explore the park's paths and choose between one of the following activities:

  • Zipline: glide on a zipline more than 1640 ft (500 m) long, soaring over the park from up high and enjoying one-of-a-kind scenic views
  • Sky Coaster: experience an extreme thrill on this aerial pendulum that will lift you high into the air before descending at high speed, simulating a controlled free fall
  • Climbing wall: put your skills and bravery to the test and go up a climbing wall designed to challenge both beginners and experts
  • Eco-friendly horseback ride: enjoy a horseback ride along the park's trails, surrounded by nature and local fauna, in a calm and educational activity

After enjoying these adrenaline-pumping adventures in nature, you'll have the chance to have lunch inside the park. When we have eaten, we'll begin our journey back to Bogotá and say our goodbyes at the starting point of day 1 between 7 pm and 8 pm.
