Salt Cathedral Day Trip (6 hours)
After picking you up at your hotel in Bogota, we'll drive to Zipaquira, a northern town located about 45 kilometres from the capital. Along the way, we'll learn how what started as a humble chapel became Colombia's first wonder.
We'll enter the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, located 180 metres underground and carved entirely out of salt, a unique monument in the world! We'll walk through the Stations of the Cross up to the choir, enjoy the curious decoration of the temple and contemplate the largest underground cross in the world.
Before returning to Bogotá, we will visit the town of Zipaquirá to discover its attractions beyond the cathedral.

On arrival at the Cachipay coffee farm, a local expert will explain the laborious process of obtaining Colombia's star product. The mountains and tropical climate of this country give Colombian coffee, one of the most aromatic in the world, a mild flavour.
It doesn't matter if you aren't a coffee grower, the landscapes that surround this Cachipay farm will not leave you indifferent. Moreover, lovers of this typical drink of the American continent will have the opportunity to taste a cup of coffee in the purest Colombian style, which will be the highlight of the excursion!

Once in Villa de Leyva, we'll stroll through its white streets until we reach the Plaza Mayor, the largest square in Colombia, and the largest in the country. To discover the history of this town that combines the traditional and the modern, we'll also visit the Museo Palentológico, the Casa Terracora and the traditional hut Sol Muisca.
