Tour Options

At the time of booking, you can choose between the following tour options. Both start at Les Bateaux Bordelais and 1 hour and 15 minutes. Below, you'll find a brief description of each option:

Boat Trip + Wine Tasting

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the pier in Bordeaux. From the panoramic decks of the ship, we'll set sail and marvel at the beautiful architecture of Bordeaux, closely linked to oenology. During our cruise, we'll hear interesting stories about the close relationship between Bordeaux and the Garonne River. What's more, we'll be able to admire symbolic monuments of Bordeaux such as the buildings of the Place de la Bourse, the Stone Bridge and the Pont d'Aquitaine.

Throughout our trip down the Garonne River, we'll also enjoy a tasting of two Bordeaux wines. An expert sommelier will show us the particularities of Gallic wines, with special emphasis on the famous Bordeaux wines. We'll learn about the history of this wine from a cultural and scientific perspective and discover the importance of climate and tradition, which have made this product a symbol of the Aquitaine region.

Then, we'll return to the starting point, bringing our experience to an end.

Boat Trip + Canelés Tasting

With this option, as we cruise down the Garonne river for 1 hour and 15 minutes, we'll taste delicious Baillardran canelés, one of the most outstanding sweets of Bordeaux. With our sweet tooths satsified, we'll soak up the riverside panoramas passing us by. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for sites like the Pierre Bridge, Chaban Delams Bridge, Cité du Vin, and the Aquitaine Bridge.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views on the boat's panoramic terrace. Slowly, we'll make our way back to the starting point, bringing our experience to an end.
