American Revolution Tour + Boat Ride
Tour Details
The American Revolution is one of the most important events in the history of the independence of the United States. Want to discover its events and most famous moments while exploring the capital of Massachusetts? At the designated time, we'll meet at the statue of Bill Russell and begin this guided tour, which also includes a boat ride around the Port of Boston. Let's go!
Once we're all gathered, we'll kick off our American Revolution tour, where we'll start along the Freedom Trail, an area that's home to some of the most important places connected to the United States' foundation. We'll pass the Boston Massacre Site, where the civil massacre of 1770, precursor of the Revolutionary War, took place.
Afterward, we'll head to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, and pass the iconic red brick building of Blackstone Block until we reach the Paul Revere House, one of the most important men in this historical period. To keep learning about Boston's history, we'll see the Old North Church, one of the most famous places of the American Revolution. We'll tell you why!
After this stop, we'll follow the steps of the famous Paul Revere's midnight ride and head to the Port of Boston, where we'll board a boat to continue learning about this iconic moment where Revere, along with other patriots, warned the militia about the British Army's plans for conquest.
For 1.5 hours, we'll sail the waters of the Port of Boston and listen to the secrets of the Boston Tea Party as we pass one of the most important ships in the United States: the USS Constitution. We'll also pass the Bunker Hill Monument, another one of the renowned spots in Boston, ideal to learn about the history of the American Revolution.
Finally, we'll return to dry land and say our goodbyes at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park after a total of 6 hours.
