The smell of typical desserts, the lights adorning the streets, the decorations, and the wreaths... You can start to feel the festive atmosphere of Christmas in Brussels. To discover what these special dates are like in the Belgian capital, we'll meet at the designated time at the famous Grand-Place, where we'll kick off this free Christmas tour by admiring the large illuminated tree in the square.

Santa Claus' helpers and the Three Kings often get lots of presents in Brussels' most emblematic square. Among these foods, sweets like the cougnou and typical dishes like stoemp aux chicons & lardons stand out. Of course, we won't miss the tartiflettes and the popular liquor called peket.

If you want, you can grab a traditional Christmas hot wine. This classic beverage is mainly served in over 250 wooden Christmas stands that are scattered in the city center during this time of year. Dessertsgiftsornaments... You can find many things at these stands, as you can see!
