Brussels French Fry Museum Tickets
The Brussels French Fry Museum
Located in the heart of Brussels, just a 5-minute walk from the iconic Grand Place, the Frietmuseum is a popular museum dedicated to French fries, one of the symbols of Belgian cuisine.
With this Frietmuseum admission, you’ll visit its curious collection with an English audio guide. The exhibition houses more than 1,600 objects related to one of the most popular products in local cuisine.
Through posters, interactive games, films, and testimonies from producers, you’ll learn about the history of French fries and how they have evolved over time. The exhibition is spread across 3 floors and begins in the Peru room, considered the country of origin of the potato.
After discovering where this plant comes from and how it later expanded through the rest of South America until reaching Europe, you’ll arrive at Frietland. This space is entirely dedicated to Belgian French fries. In this room, you’ll discover the traditions, folklore, and tasty stories behind this popular product. You’ll also learn the best secrets for preparing them.
The visit ends in the frying area, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of a cone of French fries with your favorite sauce. It will be the perfect finishing touch!
