    The guide (don’t remember the name) was knowledgeable and funny at times managing to squeeze in the joke here there gave a really good to around the city centre with the references to history and gossip. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will recommend.

In the 11th century, Grand-Place was a marketplace in the early city of Brussels. Since then, it has become the city's central square and a vibrant hub. In 1695, the square was largely destroyed in a bombardment.
