Estancia Vigil Day Trip
Visit Estancia Vigil from Buenos Aires
We'll pick you up from your hotel in the center of Buenos Aires and set off to the outskirts of the Argentine capital. Specifically, we'll travel to the Los Cardales area, located opposite the Parque Nacional Ciervo de los Pantanos, just under an hour away.
Once there, we'll explore the Mercado Estancia Vigil, an exclusive wine tourism market inspired by traditional country stores. The itinerary and gastronomic experience will vary depending on the option you choose when booking:

5-Hour Day Trip
If you choose this option, you'll enjoy a dynamic and unique experience with a guided tasting tour through the terraces, vineyards, and winery. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with a glass of wine from the iconic Catena Zapata Winery, recognized as one of the most admired in the world.
Accompanied by the sommelier, we'll stroll through the vineyards, which boast over 3,000 vines brought directly from Mendoza. During this walking tour, we'll enjoy complimentary tapas and a second and third glass of wine in the Patio and Winery areas while learning about the history of the estate.
Afterward, we'll sit down to enjoy an exquisite three-course paired lunch. The culinary approach of this kitchen is based on the "Kilometer Zero" concept, using fresh produce from their own garden and local suppliers, respecting seasonality to ensure maximum flavor. The menu consists of the following options that you can choose from:
Starters
- Slow-cooked osso buco empanada with romesco sauce made with smoked peppers and extra virgin olive oil.
- Seasonal mushroom tartare with Worcestershire and Dijon mustard emulsion, mushroom powder, and dehydrated black olives.

Dessert

This lunch includes a wine pairing with wines from the prestigious Saint Felicien by Catena Zapata line, water, and Nespresso coffee. Afterward, we'll begin our return trip to your hotel in Buenos Aires.
8-Hour Day Trip
After being welcomed with a glass of wine, we'll learn about the fascinating history of Estancia Vigil, its philosophy, and the origin of its vines, carefully selected and brought from the province of Mendoza.
Next, we'll take a guided tour of the facilities, visiting the fireplace, the patio, and the vineyards. Then, we'll enjoy a tasting of three varieties of wine specially selected by Alejandro Vigil, one of the country's most renowned winemakers. During the tasting, we'll discover the potential of Argentine Malbec through the following selection or similar:
- DV Catena Malbec La Rioja: an elegant, floral wine with pronounced minerality, cultivated at an altitude of 4,921 ft (1,500 m).
- DV Catena Malbec Salta: intense, spicy, and with excellent natural acidity from vines grown at 6,561 ft (2,000 m) above sea level.
- DV Catena Malbec Mendoza: harvested at 3,116 ft (950 m), this is a fruity, balanced, and classic-style wine.
