Cambridge Ghost Tour
Cambridge Ghost Tour
Cambridge is home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, cobbled streets, and monuments with such architectural beauty that it has become a must-see city in England. Do you want to discover its darkest side? Welcome to this ghost tour of Cambridge!
At the designated time, we'll meet at the main entrance of King's College, in King's Parade, and we'll start this fascinating tour of the city. Once we're all gathered, we'll walk along the historic streets, discovering some of the most turbulent legends of the former students who studied in Cambridge, as well as paranormal phenomena and medieval punishments that will surprise you.
Throughout the tour, we'll stroll along old streets and university courtyards where strange apparitions and unexplained sounds have been reported for centuries. Proof of this is the story of the restless spirit, who is said to haunt a local pub quite often. Will we run into him? Let's hope not...
Plus, we'll talk about the soul of Oliver Cromwell, who, according to legend, is a common ghost who roams the Sidney Sussex College, where his severed head was buried. Afterward, we'll walk around the Corpus Christi College, where there were many deaths during the plague that shook Cambridge, and where the riots took place in Peterhouse.
After listening to some of the most surprising ghost stories of Cambridge, we'll say our goodbyes outside Little St Mary's Church 1 hour later.
