Tour Details

When you make your reservation, you can choose between two tour options. Both start and end at 163 E Pearson St. and include an English-speaking guide and bus transportation. Below you'll find a brief description of each tour option:

Day Tour (1.5–2 Hours)

On board a bus, we'll start the tour in search of stories and places that will make our blood run cold. We'll explore the nooks and crannies of the Windy City, where the Mafia spun its web with impunity and gangsters wrote their own code of honor. We'll tour six iconic neighborhoods, from Streetville and River North, to Lincoln Park and Old Town.

At every corner, a story awaits us to answer all the questions: Who really was Al Capone? What secrets were hidden behind the smile of Frank “The Executioner” Nitti? We'll pass by the Biograph Theater, where John Dillinger, public enemy number one, was killed after being betrayed. We'll stop in front of the Holy Name Cathedral, where a hail of bullets sealed a bloody mafia vendetta.

We'll continue to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse, scene of decisive trials for the fate of legendary Chicago crimes. At Harry Caray's Italian Restaurant, we'll learn the hidden stories behind the Mafia's past. What is the restaurant's link to the mob?

What's more, we'll hear the macabre exploits of H. H. Holmes, a prominent serial killer in the United States, whose traps sowed panic with dozens of murders. Did you know that he was one of the most handsome and distinguished men of his time? We'll also evoke the infamous St. Valentine's Day Massacre, when several men were executed in cold blood in a hidden location on the North Side.

  • Schedules: this tour operates daily at 10 am, 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm

Night Tour (2–2.5 Hours)

Are you ready to watch how the lights of the city begin to blur the traces of crime? With this tour, we'll follow the same itinerary described in the previous section. The difference will be that we'll spend more time unraveling the stories at the sites where Chicago's historic crimes occurred.

The best part? We'll make a surprise stop, which we'll reveal to you along the way. Can you guess what it is? We can only say that it will be a delicious break.

This tour will not only be a journey through the streets of the city, but also through its darkest memory. And the truth is always hidden in the shadows.

  • Schedule: this tour operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm
