Did you know that for decades it was the tallest building in the world? Located in the heart of Chicago's financial centre, the Willis Tower is, without a doubt, one of the city's great landmarks and one that no one should miss.

To get to the 103rd floor, take the Skydeck Chicago lift, which reaches a speed of 480 metres per minute (1,574 feet per minute). You'll get there in just 60 seconds! Once at the top, you'll find four glass-floored balconies jutting out from the façade. Without a doubt, this is the best way to see the city from a 360-degree view.

What to Do at Skydeck Chicago

With your ticket to Skydeck, you'll have access to the following areas of the Willis Tower:

• The highest observation deck in the United States: to get to the 103rd floor, you'll have to take one of the fastest lifts in the world. At the top, you'll be able to see places like Lake Michigan and, on clear days, the states of Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Illinois. And, depending on the time of day, you may even be able to see one of the most beautiful sunsets in Chicago!
• The Ledge: this is four glass-floored balconies overhanging the Willis Tower—only for those who aren't afraid of heights!
• Skydeck Chicago Museum: The Willis Tower is home to one of Chicago's most unique exhibitions, where you can learn about the history of the city, from the Great Chicago Fire to the present day. In addition, this museum perfectly reflects the unique character of the city thanks to the representation of its traditions, monuments and gastronomy.

Skydeck Chicago is open at the following times:

• Sunday to Friday: 9 am to 10 pm
• Saturdays: 8:30 am to 10 pm
