Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Plaza Merino, the oldest square in the city, to begin our free tour of Chihuahua. Are you ready to discover its history? Let's go!
First, we'll walk to Plaza de Armas, where one of the city's most recognizable buildings is located, the Cathedral of Chihuahua. Here, we'll enter the Cathedral to admire its architecture, and learn about its history and construction. An absolute must-see in Chihuahua!
Our route continues to the Museum of Republican Loyalty, also known as the House of Benito Juarez. We'll take a brief tour inside to learn about President Benito Juarez's stay in the city and how he ruled Mexico from here during a pivotal historical moment. You'll be surprised to learn that this place witnessed decisive events!
Lastly, we'll visit the exterior of the Government Palace, to marvel at and understand the murals depicting significant historical events in Chihuahua. What's more, we'll visit Plaza Hidalgo, a place full of history, where during the Mexican Independence War some of its heroes were exposed, an experience that connects the past with the present!
Finally, we'll say goodbye in front of the Government Palace, concluding this 1.5-hour tour.
