Concón Surfing Lesson & Dunes Hike

At 11:30 am we'll meet at La Boca, Concón's most famous beach. This town in the region of Valparaíso is one of the best places in Chile to go surfing, as in this part of South America the waves from the Pacific Ocean have an impressive swell.

After a short safety briefing, we'll get all our equipment ready and start our surfing lesson. During this lesson, which will last 1 hour 30 minutes, you'll learn how to ride the waves from an expert instructor. Don't worry, you'll soon get the hang of standing up on your surfboard!

Our surfing lesson will finish back at the meeting point, where we'll also return the equipment we've used. Afterwards, we'll head to a cafeteria in La Boca to have a traditional Chilean empanada. You'll accompany this snack with either mineral water or a coffee, whichever you prefer.

Once we've fuelled up a little, we'll take a public bus from La Boca to the famous dunes of Concón. In just 20 minutes we'll arrive at this incredible place, which was declared a Nature Sanctuary in 1993. We'll spend 1 hour 30 minutes hiking through this unique set of sand dunes.

The activity will end at 3:30 pm at the Concón Sand Dunes, where we'll admire spectacular panoramic views of Valparaíso Bay. See you next time!
