Da Nang Motorcycle Food Tour
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose from the following options. All tours last 3.5 hours and include hotel pickup and drop-off, an English-speaking guide, a driver, helmet rental, and the tastings mentioned.
Below, we describe the details of each one:
Market Tour
Once ready, we'll head to Con Market, a universe of aromas and flavors where locals bargain with the same passion they put into cooking. Among stalls selling tropical fruits, spices, and fabrics, we'll try a traditional snack and soak up the lively atmosphere of Da Nang.
After this 40-minute visit, we'll hop back on the motorcycles and head to Han Market, the city's most iconic market. Here, we'll spend 45 minutes exploring mountains of silk, stalls selling sesame sweets, and fish. We'll share stories about Da Nang's commercial past, when this port was a key link between East and West, and you'll have time to buy some souvenirs.
We'll then continue to the Dragon Bridge, a true symbol of the city. Did you know that this metal giant breathes fire and water on weekends as a tribute to the mythological power of the dragon? Directly opposite is the Love Bridge, decorated with heart-shaped lanterns reflected in the waters of the Han River.
We'll cross the riverside promenade and see the Carp turning into a dragon statue, locally known as Cá Chép Hóa Rồng, a symbol of perseverance and good fortune in Da Nang. We'll take a 30-minute break to enjoy a coffee with views of Asia Park and its giant Ferris wheel.
We'll end the tour with a visit to Bac My An Market, where we'll enjoy some avocado ice cream. The locals' favorite!
Schedule: This tour operates at 8 am and 1 pm.
Street Food Tour
On this tour, we'll dive into the streets where Da Nang's most popular food stalls are located. First, we will stop to enjoy mì Quảng noodles, turmeric-infused noodles topped with peanuts, herbs, and rice crackers. Perfect for whetting your appetite!
Then, we'll head to a coffee shop. Ready for a surprise? We'll taste Vietnam’s strongest coffee, prepared using traditional techniques and a ritual that has stood the test of time. Shall we continue? We'll return to the road and head for the bún thịt nướng stalls. You may not be able to pronounce it, but you will certainly enjoy this dish of grilled pork marinated with lemongrass and peanut sauce. A feast of smoky, fresh, and spicy flavors!
Later on, we'll come to a stall selling Vietnamese pancakes filled with shrimp, soybeans, and pork. The route will continue with delicate steamed rice cakes topped with dried shrimp and pork rinds.
Finally, we'll end on a sweet note at a coconut ice cream shop in Han Market, amid the constant buzz of the city.
Schedule: This tour operates at 8 am, 1 pm, and 5:30 pm.
Michelin Guide–Recommended Street Food Tour
On this motorcycle route, we'll visit the best street food stalls, where we'll taste some of Da Nang's dishes recommended by the Michelin Guide for their authenticity and flavor.
Our first stop will be a small, much-loved local eatery, where we will enjoy a noodle soup with fish cake, one of the Michelin Guide highlights for its perfect balance. Its rich broth reflects the purity of central Vietnam’s cuisine.
Next, we'll visit a café with more than 30 years of history to try a Cà Phê Long. There, the ritual of Vietnamese drip coffee will transport us back in time. Did you know that this method of preparation was adopted during the French colonial era and became a symbol of national identity?
We'll then savor the famous mì Quảng, turmeric noodles with pork, shrimp, peanuts, and fresh herbs. This dish, also recognized by the Michelin Guide, originated as a festive meal and is now a source of pride for Da Nang.
The tour will continue amid the sizzling aromas of bánh xèo, golden, crispy crepes filled with shrimp and bean sprouts. We'll end with a sweet treat made of coconut milk, jellies, and sweet beans with ice. A dessert that is loved by the locals.
Schedule: This tour operates at 8 am, 1 pm, and 5:30 pm.
