Kiki Waterfall Day Trip
Day Trip Details
Fancy discovering one of the most impressive waterfalls in Panama? If so, after picking you up from your hotel in David, we'll begin a drive of a little more than 2 hours to reach the green landscapes of the province of Chiriquí.
We'll arrive at the indigenous Ngöbe Buglé region of Cerro Blanco. We'll immerse ourselves in an enclave that keeps alive their ancestral traditions. This indigenous community, one of the most numerous in the country, preserve their way of life in harmony with nature. After getting to know the area, we'll give you free time to enjoy a typical lunch.
Feeling refuelled, we'll begin a hike towards the Kiwi Waterfall, also known as the Salto de la Maestra. The trail will take us through lush tropical vegetation, and we'll be enveloped by the sounds of the jungle.
As we get closer to the waterfall, the murmur of the water will turn into a powerful roar. The Kiki Waterfall is one of the highest and most plentiful waterfalls in Panama. In fact, it always has water, even in the dry season!
Upon arrival, we'll take some time to enjoy the cool breeze and marvel at the natural spectacle. Cameras at the ready, the pictures will be postcard-perfect! After this revitalising experience, we'll return to the indigenous village.
Finally, we'll meet up to begin the journey back to David, where we'll drop you off at your hotel 8 hours after the initial pickup.
