Located in the neighborhood of The Liberties, in the heart of Dublin, Teeling is the first new distillery to open in the city in over than 125 years. From 2015, when its doors were open, it has been awarded more than 20 prizes thanks to its careful preparation of one of Ireland's star products, whiskey.
With your ticket, you'll witness how this distillery in full operation dedicates all of its efforts to brewing one of the best whiskies in Dublin, meticulously caring for the complex elaboration process of this centennial beverage, from milling, mashing, and maturation of the whiskey.
In the Teeling Distillery, you'll learn how the elaboration process of this beverage has evolved without leaving tradition behind, but innovating to create a high-quality Irish whiskey. To do so, time, style, and the number of barrels used during the maturation process vary, enhancing the subtlety and complexity that characterizes the products crafted in this new distillery.
The Teeling distillery has a long history, dating back to 1782, when Walter Teeling founded a small artisanal distillery in Marrowbone Lane. Honoring its ancestors, the last generation of the Teeling family works hard to leave their mark on Irish whiskey with its original distillery.
