Madeira Bays Boat Ride
Bay Cruise Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel or meet you at pier 8 of the Funchal Marina at the indicated time and set off on our boat trip across Madeira's coastal landscape. During our cruise, we'll sail alongside two of the most beautiful bays of Funchal: Machico Bay and D'Abra Bay.
We'll start by sailing along the border of Machico Bay, one of the busiest beaches on the island. This town was the first capital of Madeira and still houses several colonial buildings as a legacy of the first explorers who settled on the island.
Our boat trip will then continue to D'Abra Bay, popularly known as the "wild bay". Unlike most of the island, this area lacks vegetation and is characterised by prominent cliffs and reddish-coloured rocks. We'll sail along the famous Ponta de São Lourenço and make a stop at the bay so you can take a dip and relax in this beautiful setting.
To recover our strength, we'll enjoy a delicious meal on board and make our way back to the starting point in Funchal.
