    The experience was amazing Sherif contacted me in the morning with clear indications on what to do, and where to meet, including pictures. He is an archaeologist that works with the pyramids, so it has a lot to say and to show, he is funny, he was in a great mood and he is patience, he knows how amazing everything is for the tourist, so he is not rushing, he takes his time. The place is incredible, beautiful, highly recommended.

The Pyramid of Menkaure stands as the smallest of the three iconic pyramids on the Giza Plateau, yet it captivates visitors with its unique charm and slightly different proportions. This ancient monument, set against the backdrop of the desert and the larger pyramids, offers a close-up look into the fascinating world of Egyptian pharaohs and their architectural feats.

A Glimpse into Its Past

Built during the reign of Pharaoh Menkaure around 2510 BC, this pyramid was constructed as his tomb and symbolizes the pharaoh’s power and legacy. Unlike its neighbors, it displays sections of granite casing and once included a mortuary temple filled with lavish decorations and impressive statues. Its smaller size was more than compensated by the extraordinary craftsmanship and care taken in its construction.
