The Nasrid Palaces are the most famous and celebrated part of the Alhambra in Granada. A Bit of History

Built between the 13th and 15th centuries by the sultans of the Nasrid dynasty, the palaces once served as the official royal residence of the Kingdom of Granada. Inside, you’ll find the Palace of Comares, the Palace of the Lions, and the Mexuar Hall. 

How to Visit the Nasrid Palaces

Access requires a specific ticket, as this is the most exclusive area of the Alhambra. Through Civitatis, you can book general admission, combo tickets, or guided tours in Spanish that include the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife gardens, and the Alcazaba fortress.

Can You Visit the Alhambra Without Entering the Nasrid Palaces?

Technically, yes, though we wouldn't recommend it. You can explore other parts of the Alhambra complex without paying extra, but the Nasrid Palaces are its true highlight.
