Hiking in Husfjellet or Sukkertoppen

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the reception of the Hamn i Senja Hotel, where we'll board a minibus to depart to the starting point of our trekking route through the mountains of Senja Island.

Depending on the time of year, we'll hike the trails up to Husfjellet or Sukkertoppen. Both mountains will provide us with spectacular scenery as we ascend to their peaks. Along the way, we'll learn about the local flora and fauna, take in the fresh air, and enjoy this beautiful natural environment.

Once we reach the peak, you'll feel like you're on top of the world! The Husfjellet viewpoint is located at 632 meters above sea level, and the Sukkertoppen viewpoint is at 456 meters. From this altitude, you can marvel at the views of the Bergsfjorden fjord and the Bergsoyan archipelago!

The difficulty of the hike is moderate, so if you're in good shape, you'll be able to complete the route without any problems. We'll also make stops to rest and replenish our strength halfway through with a buffet lunch.

At the end of the hike, we'll get into the vehicle to take you back to the starting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 10 hours of tour.

Summer & winter route

Between the months of May and October, we'll hike through Husfjellet, and between November and April, we'll hike through Sukkertoppen.
