Manzanos Haro Winery Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Palacio de Tejada, very close to the Bodegas Manzanos Haro. Are you ready to visit the oldest winery in Haro? Let's discover the wine wealth of La Rioja!
Once we've all gathered, we'll talk about the Denominación de Origen Rioja to learn all about the special wines that are crafted in Manzanos Haro. Did you know it's the only winery of the 19th century with a vertical design that is still operating today? You'll learn all about its facts!
When we've arrived at the winery, located in the emblematic Calle Las Cuevas, we'll step inside to dive into the history of the wines of La Rioja, considered by many as one of the most exquisite wines in the world. We'll visit the area dedicated to the wine museum, as well as the rooms where we'll see the elaboration process of this beverage, tracing the grape's journey from its harvest in the vineyard to the bottling process.
During the tour of the Bodegas Manzanos Haro, you'll explore the winery's five underground floors, passing through the wine cellar, one of the most important parts, thanks to the fascinating aging room in 19th-century oak-barrel aging room and the 15th-century bottle crypt.
To wrap the tour in the best way, we'll enjoy a guided tasting of five premium wines from Manzanos Haro served with cheeses. In the tasting, you'll have the privilege of tasting Gonzalo de Berceo Tempranillo Blanco, Siglo Crianza Selección, Manzanos Reserva, Voché Graciano Vino de Autor, and Gonzalo Berceo Gran Reserva wine. It's the perfect way to end the experience!
After a total of 2 hours, we'll say our goodbyes with this delightful flavor and end the activity.
