It's a more difficult excursion than the one presented on the platform. Because of that, we didn't realize it until we were already arriving on the bus and the tour guide began explaining it to us. He, by the way, warns us about the dangers of the excursion without any encouragement; at one point, it even seemed like he was trying to convince us not to do it. In any case, we really enjoyed it and completed it in record time. I would definitely do it again, but perhaps with another tour company.
This activity in Huaraz is well worth it. I think it is a must-do in Huaraz. Lagoon 69 is considered one of the best in the world and it is no wonder... You have to see it. The only thing is that to do so you will have to walk 7 km with 700 m of positive gradient (from 3900 to 4600), and another 7 downhill. But I insist that it is worth it. It is 3 hours up and 2 down. Bring food and water!!
