Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Parque de Arena. There, we'll give a brief introduction and give you some recommendations to make the most out of this free bike tour of Huatulco. Fasten your helmets!

Our first stop will be the Santa Cruz Chapel, undoubtedly one of the most iconic spots in the Huatulco Bay area. There, we'll learn about its history and its importance to the local community.

We'll continue our bike route with a gentle climb toward Chahué Beach, which will reward us with spectacular views of the bay. We'll also take the opportunity for a short break to hydrate ourselves.

The next stage will be the most challenging of the tour: we'll cycle up to the Huatulco Letters viewpoint, located in Tangolunda Bay. The effort will be worth it, as we’ll enjoy unforgettable panoramic views of the coastline and the hotel zone.

After the must-have photo stop, we’ll begin a pleasant descent to an artisanal mezcal palenque (distillery), where we’ll get a closer look at Oaxaca’s mezcal-making tradition. For 1 hour and 15 minutes, we’ll learn about the production process, and if you wish, you may taste different varieties of this special drink on your own.

To finish off, we'll stroll through the quiet residential streets of La Crucecita, enjoying a different perspective of local life in Huatulco.

Finally, we'll return to Arena Park, completing a total route of 17 kilometers (10.56 miles) and lasting almost 3 hours.
