Sightseeing Bus between Katakolo & Pyrgos
Tour Details
This open-top sightseeing bus departs from the cruise terminal in Katakolo. From there, you'll embark on a journey of just 15 minutes to Pyrgos, one of the main historical cities in western Greece. During the route, you'll also have access to an audio guide in English.
The bus will drop you off on Manolopoulou Street, right in the historic centre of Pyrgos. Once you get off the bus here, you can explore the town at your leisure. Highlights include the Archaeological Museum and the Eparcheion, a tower built on the highest of the seven hills surrounding the area.
You can hop on and off the tourist bus as many times as you like for a whole day. This gives you the chance to return to Katakolo to have lunch on your cruise ship. In the afternoon, after eating, you can return to Pyrgos to continue exploring the town.
After seeing all the places you wanted to visit in Pyrgos, you can take the tourist bus back to Katakolo and board your cruise ship in plenty of time.
