We'll meet at Rose Inn Street at the time of your choice to start our guided tour of Kilkenny. Are you ready to discover why this town is such a vibrant destination?

We'll cross the River Nore and head towards the church of St. John the Evangelist, a neo-Gothic style chapel built in the early twentieth century. We'll review its history and discover why Kilkenny is known as the city of marble. The reason is not as obvious as it may seem. 

Of course, we'll admire the exterior of the imposing fortress of Kilkenny, whose origins date back to the 12th century. The stories surrounding this place will amaze you! We'll talk about the Butler family, the dynasty that inhabited this castle, and why it was closely linked to the Norman conquest of Ireland.

We'll continue our guided tour of Kilkenny walking through the most picturesque streets of the town and observing the medieval heritage it preserves. Of course, we'll see the Library, the Town Hall and the exterior of its Dominican abbey, and the Cathedral, get your cameras ready!

After two hours of walking, we'll finish the guided tour of Kilkenny and say in the historic city center.
