What to Do In Koh Tao?
Recognized worldwide as one of the best diving destinations in Thailand, Koh Tao hides reefs and fascinating biodiversity, especially in Shark Bay, Aow Leuk, Tanote Bay, and Japanese Gardens.
On the west coast, Sairee Beach sets the pace on the island in the evening, with relaxed bars, soft music, and an atmosphere that invites you to stay out late. If you are looking for quieter beaches, Freedom Beach, Sai Daeng Beach, and Chalok Baan Kao offer coves with white sand and calm waters.
Koh Tao also encourages slowing down with hiking trails through hills, yoga centers, oceanfront massages, and small restaurants where you can try fresh fish.
What to See in Koh Pha Ngan?
Koh Pha Ngan is an island that surprises visitors with its mountainous interior. There you'll find lush trails in Than Sadet–Ko Pha-Ngan National Park, where the Phaeng waterfall, one of the largest on the island, and the Than Sadet waterfall, once visited by Thai kings, stand out. From viewpoints such as Khao Ra, the highest point on the island, the views open up over the jungle and the gulf in an impressive panorama.
On the northwest coast, Koh Ma is connected to the island by a natural sandbar, forming one of the best spots for snorkeling thanks to its shallow reefs. Nearby, Mae Haad Beach has a relaxed atmosphere.
In Thong Sala, the main port, you can stroll through night markets, temples, and restaurants where everyday life and Thai cuisine are at their best.
