Schindler's Factory + Old Ghetto Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet directly at 4 Lipowa Street, in front of the main entrance to Schindler's Factory. Our guide will be waiting for us there.
We'll begin with a guided tour of the Schindler's Factory Museum, where we'll learn about the history of the businessman who saved hundreds of people. After visiting the museum, we'll take a walking tour of the former Krakow ghetto in the Podgórze district.
We'll explore the remains of the ghetto wall and the famous Ghetto Heroes Square, the scene of the deportations. The tour will end after about 3 hours at the iconic Eagle Pharmacy (Apteka pod Orlem).
Jewish Quarter + Schindler's Factory Tour
Looking to discover the history of the Jewish community? For this option, we'll meet at the appointed time at 24 Szeroca Street, next to the Old Synagogue.
We'll start by walking through the heart of Kazimierz, stopping at iconic temples such as the Old Synagogue, Remuh, Kupa and Tempel. We'll learn about the Jewish heritage of the area, now a vibrant neighbourhood of art galleries and kosher restaurants. After passing through New Square and the Corpus Christi Basilica, we'll cross the river to visit Oskar Schindler's factory.
There, we'll tour the rooms that reconstruct life in Krakow under Nazi occupation, seeing the businessman's original office and exhibitions that will transport you back to this difficult period. The tour ends after 3.5 hours outside the factory.
