Genting Highlands + Batu Caves Day Trip

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur and take you by bus to begin our excursion to the Batu Caves. Let's get started!

Once we arrive, we’ll make our way into these caves, considered a sacred site for Hindus in Malaysia. You'll be captivated by their grandeur and, above all, by the majestic golden statue of Murugan, one of the most revered deities.

You'll have approximately 1 hour of free time to climb the 272 steps leading to the main cave, the Temple Cave, and admire the shrine hidden inside. The reward for this little effort? An unbeatable panoramic view!

We'll then continue the trip with a short stop at a local products shop, where you can buy souvenirs or snacks.

Afterwards, we'll head to Genting Highlands, a hilltop resort complex. Here, we'll take the Awana SkyWay cable car to soar above the Malaysian rainforest, enjoying breathtaking views. During the ascent, we'll stop at the Chin Swee Chinese Temple.

In Genting Highlands, you'll also have 4 to 5 hours of free time to enjoy the area at your own pace. You can wander through the resort's streets, try your luck at the casinos, or enjoy some of the many attractions in this theme-park-style complex.

Finally, we'll meet up again to begin the journey back to Kuala Lumpur, dropping you off at the pickup point about 10 hours after the trip started.

This tour includes pickup from these hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Please note that pickup is not available from the following locations: Pudu area, ChowKit, KL Sentral, Brickfields, Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur Chinatown Hotel, Olympic Malaysia Hotel, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Hotel, and YWCA Kuala Lumpur Hotel.

Please note that pickup is only included when the reservation is for a minimum of 2 people. If you book for just one person, you'll be picked up at the following address: Berjaya Times Square, in front of Starbucks Coffee.

If your pickup location is outside the coverage area, a minimum surcharge of 50 RM (US$ 12.20) per car will apply (the fee and pickup time depend on the location). This must be paid directly to the driver in cash.

Partial Closures

Please note that the Awana SkyWay cable car will be temporarily closed for maintenance from January 12 to 23, 2026. During this period, the visit to Chin Swee Temple will be removed. Additionally, the cable car ticket will be replaced with transportation from Gohtong Jaya Station.
