Our tour of Rome was fabulous! We saw and walked sites we have been to before. It was a very informative tour, plenty of information and walking. Our tour guide Elena/Elaine was fantastic, well-informed and funny. Like she mentioned, it’s a tour to get to know Rome or see it again. We got our money’s worth with Civita! Our cruise’s shore excursion was the same and cost 3 times more. One word of caution: the Civitavecchia welcome center is minimal at best, the lines to get back to port are bad.
This is my second time using this service and the experiences have been great and on time. This is cost efficient way to get to/from the Civitavecchia cruise port to the airport. The bus is clean and the service agents are charming. Definitely a better way to go than the overpriced cruise company services, as long as the bus schedules align with your travel plans.
