Casa Botines Ticket + Audioguide

  • 26 reviews | 332 travellers
The attention of the ladies at the ticket sales point was very pleasant and professional, even though it was through Civitatis, and not directly there. Everything was very fast and with an audio guide included. Highly recommended to ensure your visit in case of possible overbooking.

Why Visit the Casa Botines?

Located in the Plaza de San Marcelo in the heart of León’s historic center, the iconic Casa Botines is a stunning modernist building that now houses a museum dedicated to the genius of Antonio Gaudí. Known for his masterpieces like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and Park Güell, Gaudí designed very few works outside of Catalonia, and this majestic building in León is one of them.

Your ticket to Casa Botines includes an audio guide, offering an in-depth look into the secrets of this magnificent building. The tour begins on the main floor, where you'll learn about the building's history. You’ll also experience both physical and virtual recreations of the businesses that once occupied the first floor: in 1893, it was home to a fabric store run by Simón Fernández and Mariano Andrés, and from 1931, it served as a bank office.

The audio tour concludes on the second floor, where you’ll step into a recreation of a 19th-century home designed by Gaudí. Here, you’ll also find the interactive exhibition Gaudí, the Architect of Dreams, where you can “fly over” other architectural wonders created by the Catalan master.
