Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

19 years after the great battle of Hogwarts, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the eighth book in the series written by J.K. Rowling, arrives. The plot of this theatrical performance takes the audience to the events that follow the epilogue of The Deathly Hallows. The world of Harry Potter never ends!

In this show, you'll see Harry arrive at King's Cross station to accompany his son as he begins his journey at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Named Albus Severus Potter and with a promising future as a wizard, his father's reputation weighs heavily on him as he arrives at school and struggles to live up to it and enter the Gryffindor House.

During the show, you'll experience the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione as adults, as well as their new challenges to survive the dangers that currently threaten the magical world. Will these problems affect their children? Will they be able to escape the Dementors? The special effects will have you on the edge of your seat!

How Long Does the Play Last?

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the play, which is performed in London, has a total duration of 6 hours. The performance takes place in two parts, the first lasting 2 hours and 40 minutes, and the second lasting 2 hours and 35 minutes.

  • On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the first part of the show is performed at 2 pm, and the second part is at 7 pm
  • On Sundays, the first part is performed at 1 pm and the second part is at 6 pm

These tickets give you access to both acts.

Palace Theatre

The show will take place in the Palace Theatre in the West End, London's neighbourhood known for its vibrant artistic and cultural life, very similar to Broadway in New York.

This theatre opened its doors in 1891 under the name Royal English Opera House. However, a year later it became a large concert hall in the British capital and acquired its current name, Palace Theatre of Varieties.

It hosted its first musical in 1925 and, since then, major musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, The Woman in White and Spamalot have graced its stage. Currently, this prominent venue is hosting the successful Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, one of the greatest musicals of recent years.
