Visit one of the most popular tourist attractions in the hills of Los Angeles: the Griffith Observatory! A must-see on any trip to LA, enjoy incredible views.
Description
We'll meet at the designated time at the Astronomers Monument, in front of the Griffith Observatory to begin our guided tour. Be sure to spot the murals inspired by Greek mythology!
During the tour, we'll explore over 6,000 square meters (64,583 square feet) of exhibits and take you through the history of Griffith Park. We'll learn about science, modern architecture, film curiosities, and much more!
We'll also visit the East Hall where the Tesla Coil is located. Then, we'll go to the observatory roof to enjoy panoramic views of the LA Basin and the famous Hollywood sign.
In the West Hall, we'll get to enjoy an interactive periodic table of elements, and in the Space Area, we'll discover some of the most sophisticated astronomical instruments in the world. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to see a show at the Samuel Oschin Planetarium when the tour is over.
After about 1.5 hours of exploring the observatory and its exhibits, we'll bring the tour to an end.
