This flamenco show lasts 1 hour and is directed by Salvador Barrul, one of the most renowned figures of today's flamenco scene.
Between 1920 and 1955, the flamenco shows were celebrated in bullrings and theaters. These shows were known as the Ópera Flamenca. That period marked an era of great creativity, during which artists such as the flamenco singers Manuel Torre and Antonio Chacón, as well as La Niña de los Peines and Manolo Caracol, stood out.
The tablao Ópera Flamenca in Madrid captures the essence of those shows from yesteryear with choirs, violins, and some other surprises. All of this is mixed with dance, song, guitar, and percussion, creating a special ambience with music that will touch the very depths of your soul.
