Full-Day Tour (9 Hours)
From the meeting point, we'll make our way by minibus to where we'll hop into our kayaks. Here, after a short meeting about how to use the kayak and the oar, we'll begin an exciting kayaking tour of the Calanques National Park. This area of the French Riviera, located in the south of France, is a real Mediterranean paradise whose landscapes will forever remain etched into your memories.
On the day of the activity, we'll decide which of the 3 options we'll choose, which will depend on the weather conditions:
- Calanques National Park: we'll depart from Cassis to explore the most emblematic coves of the park: Port Pin, En Vau, and Sugiton. We'll kayak next to majestic cliffs, pass nearby islands, explore sea caves, and discover hidden faults. We'll stop several times to swim in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy the solitary beaches, inaccessible on foot. It'll be an ideal experience for nature lovers seeking tranquility.
- French Riviera: we'll paddle from Port de la Lave or Carry-le-Rouet, depending on the conditions, and kayak along the coves of the French Riviera, surrounded by turquoise waters and spectacular rock formations. We'll sail the waters of a lesser-known stretch of the French Riviera, between l'Estaque and Carry-le-Rouet. This area is calm even in summer and is home to charming fishing ports like Niolon, La Vesce, Méjean, and La Redonne.
- Archipelago of Riou: from the small port of Callelongue, we'll paddle toward the wildest archipelago of the marine park. We'll pass the ensenada de Mounine, the islet of La Melette, and head toward Jarron, Jaïre, Calsereigne, and the majestic Ìle of Riou. This protected environment is a refuge for marine birds and migratory species. We'll enjoy a secluded beach and, if the weather allows, continue with a second coastal route in the afternoon that offers stunning views of the tallest cliffs of the Calanques.
Morning Tour (4 Hours)
Ready? First, we'll sail in search of the southern island of Maer, where we'll see the cliffs and the variety of the area's birds. You'll see white-throated kingfishers and seagulls. Keep your eyes peeled!
We'll paddle along the turquoise blue waters of these unique locations. Its tonality contrasts with the ochre colours of the cliffs, making for a spectacular landscape you won't forget any time soon.
During our tour, we'll make a short stop at the Plage de Cap Croisette so that you can take a refreshing dip in the waters of the Mediterranean. Finally, we'll paddle back to the point where we began our journey.
Sunset Tour (4 Hours)
In this case, we'll follow the same itinerary described in the previous section. The big difference will be that we'll spend more time paddling around the south of the Island of Maïre and we won't stop at the beach. Landscapes bathed in golden hues from sunset are guaranteed!
