Marseille, Cassis, and Aix-en-Provence Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time in front of the City Hall entrance for a walking tour of Marseille. During this tour, we'll walk through Le Panier, known as the artists' quarter. We'll see its outstanding street art murals and the Vieille Charité area.
Next, we'll go by minibus to the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, the most emblematic church in Marseille. After learning about its history, we'll go to the Cap Canaille de Cassis, the highest maritime cape in Europe. Afterwards, you'll have 2.5 hours of free time in Cassis to get yourself some lunch. You can also take a 1-hour boat trip on your own in the Calanques National Park.
From Cassis, we'll continue to Aix-en-Provence, where you can stroll along the famous Avenue Mirabeau, which links the old and the modern part of the city. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to admire the magnificent 17th and 18th century mansions. You'll have 2 hours of free time in Aix-en-Provence to explore the city at your leisure.
We'll end the tour by returning to the meeting point in Marseille, where we'll arrive between 9.5 and 10 hours after pickup.
