Sforza Castle & Branca Tower Guided Tour
Tour Details
Milan's history goes beyond its stunning cathedral. At the designated time, we'll meet at the Triennale di Milano and begin this guided tour of two of the must-see monuments in Parco Sempione: the Sforza Castle and the Blanca Tower. You'll love it!
Once we're all gathered, we'll begin this complete tour by heading to the Branca Tower, a monument built in 1930 which can pride itself on being the Modernist totem of Milan, right in the Parco Sempione. This tower, created by the architect Gio Ponti, stands over 354 feet (108 meters) tall and has a fascinating structure with glass walls.
We'll climb to the top of the Branca Tower in just a minute, thanks to its modern elevator. Once we reach the top, get your cameras ready—you'll have the best scenic views of Milan at your feet!
After admiring the Italian city, the Alps, and the Apennines, we'll go back to the Parco Sempione and set off to the Sforza Castle. As we walk to this Milanese fortress, you'll explore the pretty trails of this urban park, where you'll learn some facts about this green lung. Did you know it was originally used as a hunting choir?
Once we reach the castle, we'll step into this Milanese gem, where you'll discover how Milan became one of the most important European cities. You'll also dive into the legends of the most powerful Italian families that have passed through here. It'll be a blast to the past!
Finally, after 2 hours, we'll say our goodbyes at the exterior of the Sforza Castle and conclude the tour.
