Once everyone is ready, we'll dive into the world of cocoa, one of Minca’s star products in the eco-friendly Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. With the help of an expert chocolatier, you'll learn the history of cocoa, from its purest form with its ancestral roots to its current importance.
During the workshop, we'll go through all the stages of the cacao production process, including cultivation, harvesting, fermentation, drying, and traditional roasting carried out at Casa Jocolate.
However, this workshop wouldn't be complete without tasting this delicate product. You'll be amazed and delighted! We'll savor raw and caramelized beans, enjoy a hot cocoa drink, and sample an artisanal liqueur. You can apply a cocoa face mask to discover its skin benefits.
To conclude our visit to Casa Jocolate, we'll make a chocolate bar using traditional techniques. The perfect ending to the activity!
Finally, after 50–60 minutes of chocolate-making, the experience will come to an end.
