Minsk Private Guided Tour

At your selected time, we'll meet in front of City Hall to start this guided tour of Minsk. Ready to discover the capital of Belarus?

On this walking tour, we'll discover why Minsk is such a unique city by learning about its history and most representative monuments. Due to its geographical location bordering Russia in eastern Europe, as well as the historical events that Belarus has been part of, the city of Minsk features a Soviet structure mixed with modern elements.

We'll learn interesting facts about Minsk as we walk through its most symbolic squares: Freedom Square, Independence Square and October Square. We'll also check out the so-called Upper Town, holding five centuries of history of the Belarusian capital. Here you'll see important monuments like the City Hall, Bernardine Monastery and the Jesuit Monastery. We'll also get acquainted with the multi-confessional aspect of Minsk - did you know that Minsk is home to more than 30 religious communities?

Next, we'll walk along Nezavisimosti Avenue, where every building tells a part of the city's history during World War II. Then, we'll visit the Central Post Office, where you'll have the opportunity to send a nice postcard from Minsk to your loved ones. We'll also explore some of the Soviet-era stores that are still in operation.

We'll then take the metro to Victory Square and its monument, where we'll learn more about the horrors of the war and discover why this memorial was built. Near the square, there is a small wooden house that holds a secret that would change the course of history. Want to know what it is? We'll reveal everything during the tour!

The last stop of the tour will be Oktyabrskaya Street to see the most modern buildings of Minsk. The tour will end here after two and a half hours of sightseeing.
